Golden Egg

Monday, March 25, 2013

Happy Monday everyone!

So are you all ready for the Easter long weekend? I sure am. My weekend is going to be busy with family dinners and gathering at friend’s houses. Really looking forward to it. Meanwhile here is an easy egg candle craft that you can make and impress your guests.

Happy Creating!

Materials Needed

  • Eggs (empty the eggs and wash it and let it dry)
  • Tea light candles
  • Gold paint

Step 1: When cracking the egg make sure to crack it at the top so you can use the rest

Step 2: Dip the bottom of the egg in gold paint or a paint of your choice

Step 3: Place the candle inside the egg

Rachel - These are gorgeous!! Oh my goodness – I’ve got to make a few of these. Do you know how long they’ll hold up? Do the shells tend to wear out after a while?

Cindy - Saw this on Happy Hour – So cute! I bought eggs to use in my Easter decorating, but my guys kept eating them before I could get finished. This would be the perfect compromise – they could eat the eggs and I could use the shells. Thanks for sharing:)
