Tissue Paper Flower

March 6, 2013

Happy Thursday everyone!

I can almost smell the fresh flowers of spring. Well not almost but you all know what I mean : )

Its not too long before we can enjoy spring, meanwhile here is a fresh idea to welcome spring soon. I actually came across this idea by accident. My daughter was playing with the tissue paper and the popsicle sticks, so I joined in with her. One thing lead to another and voila, this project came about.

Happy Creating!

Materials Needed

  • Tissue paper
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Glue
  • Book page
  • Tin Can
  • Sequence ribbon

Cut tissue paper in circles, pinch in the middle of the tissue paper, twist it a little bit and you will end up with a petal like you see above

Glue two of the petals on either side of the popsicle stick

Do as many as you want, I did about five sticks

Cover the tin can with an old book page

Decorate the can with a sequence ribbon
